About Genesis Lawn Care
Our Story
Our story wasn't one of planning and dreaming of being in the lawn care industry, it started in our Pastor's living room while attending a couples bible study.! We were given the opportunity to purchase a small portion of a local company that was getting out of the business at the time. Chuck was already working for a lawn and landscaping company and had a foundation of knowledge, as I was very much so a green horn in the industry. With a week to decide, we took a leap and on April 20th of 2019 we hit our first lawn as Genesis, a husband and wife lawn care team and the rest is history!
Our Services
We offer a range of lawn care services including but definitely not limited too, weekly scheduled mowing, trimming, lawn clean up, shrub/ hedge trimming, bed maintence, mulch/rock installations, edging, tree removal, planting, and hauling of bulk material. Also providing sasoned firewood for sale, fence line clearing, brush and overgrown land management. If we have the means and the tools- we can do it! Fully licensed and insured. Our specialty, which is what sets us apart, is you are guaranteed one if not both of us will be servicing your property. What does that mean to you? Accountability and reliability. We pride ourselves in maintaining credible relationships with our customers and treating you like family. We take each property on an individual basis, meeting the needs and expectations of the customer and when we leave your lawn, we are 100% satisfied we've provided the best service possible.
Our Team
Family owned and definatly family operate! Chuck and I are your full time lawn care providers. We are 100% your "mom and pop" shop, we handle all facets of our business personally, from accounts receivable to mower maintenance. Our goal is to provide exceptional service at a reasonable price, to us your not just another customer or lawn. Family owned and opertated is takiing on a new look as of 2025. We are proud to say that both boys of which have spent many a hot summers day push mowing lawns, are now both enlisted in the National Guard. Our crew is going to look a little different this year, you may catch a little gal out on your lawn, but not to worry she too has plenty of experience!

What is the GreenCare for Troops program?
GreenCare for Troops is a nationwide outreach program sponsored by Project EverGreen and our company to care for lawns and landscapes of families of deployed military personnel.
Who is Project EverGreen?
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Project EverGreen is a national non-profit committed to bringing people together to make a difference in how yards, parks and communities creating a greener, healthier, cooler Earth. Project EverGreen initiatives include GreenCare for Troops,™ SnowCare for Troops,™ and GreenCare for Communities initiatives, the Our Winning Green Space contest and the TOCA Environmental Communicator of the Year award.
Why we support Project EverGreen
In 2024, we supported our oldest as he enlisted into the National Guard, doing split training between his junior and senior year of high school. He was soon followed after graduation by three of his closest friends. In 2025, his younger brother followed suit and enlisted, he will soon be attending basic training. As most would, we beam with pride in the 5 young men that selflessly choose to serve our country. As of Spring this year we recieved news, that two of the five will be on a year long deployment overseas. So this opprotunity to help fellow military families only seemed fitting for our company to support an amazing program and show our support to our own service members.
